About Our School

At Athelstan House School each child is special and we welcome children of all cultures, beliefs and abilities.

We attach a high priority to helping lead children towards an understanding of ‘fairness’ towards others and of being sensitive towards the feelings and needs of those around them.

‘A strong emphasis is placed on pastoral care and the school helps pupils to develop into confident, articulate young people.’

‘The care shown by staff to pupils is of the highest order and results in pupils developing self-esteem and gaining a balanced awareness of the world around them.’
